FAME FORUM IV MODERN HIGHLIGHTS

Seymour Duncan SH-2 & SH-4

With a Seymour Duncan SH-4 JB at the bridge and a Seymour Duncan SH-2n Jazz at the neck, a proven pair of humbuckers is used that delivers the right sound for every genre between blues, pop, rock and even metal. Here, the bridge pickup convinces with a high output and the enormous assertiveness of its sharply focused mids, while the neck pickup brings every note to life with endless sustain and a warm vintage voice. Thanks to the coil-split circuit, authentic single-coil sounds with the typical bell-like clarity of tone are also at hand.

Solid hardware

Last but not least, the Fame Forum IV Modern Semi Hollow convinces with its high-quality hardware equipment, which completes its use on stage and in the studio with unrestricted reliability. From the traditional stopbar tailpiece, the strings are fed through the GraphTech Resomax Tune-O-Matic bridge, whose String Saver graphite tailpieces house the ghost piezo elements. Also from GraphTech is the Black-TUSQ saddle, behind which the strings are held by precise locking mechanisms on the headstock.

Strong mahogany body & curly maple top

The resonance-chambered khaya mahogany body is finished with a soundboard of curly maple, whose unique grain is accentuated by the finish. The highlight is undoubtedly the sharply contoured arching of the top with a recess in the cutaway, which ensures unhindered playability in all registers. Thanks to the perfectly proportioned “D” profile, the Sapelli mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, so that every note almost plays itself on the ebony fingerboard.
