FAME FORUM IV MODERN HIGHLIGHTS

Seymour Duncan USA Humbucker in Zebra Look

Only for the special model Fame provides two real Seymour Duncan humbuckers from US production with a refreshing zebra look. In the bridge position, a Seymour Duncan SH-4 JB humbucker is at work, which is considered an absolute classic for steamy sounds of blues, rock and metal and shines with high output, well resolving mids and a good reproduction of the treble spectrum. At the neck, on the other hand, the Seymour Duncan SH-2 Jazz provides the right complement to give the Fame Forum IV Modern 50th Anniversary a warm and vocal tone for singing leads and characterful crunch. Both pickups can also be switched to coil split mode to create classic single coil sounds.

GraphTech Ghost ResoMax bridge with piezo pickup

If you want to go beyond the diverse sounds of the two magnetic pickups, you can fall back on a high-quality piezo pickup system, which is integrated in the GraphTech Ghost Loaded ResoMax bridge. The push/pull function of the volume control activates the piezo pickup to provide airy, clear sounds that are ideal for transparent and high-resolution picking and classic acoustic sounds. Via the rear blend control, the sound of the piezo pickup can be continuously added to the magnetic pickup mix.

Slim D-neck and high-quality Gotoh tuners

The neck of the Fame Forum IV Modern 50th Anniversary is also made of Black Limba and with its tried and tested D-profile it provides the perfect basis for implementing the most delicate playing techniques on the 24-fret fingerboard made of the finest ebony. The slim neck foot and the iconic wide cutaways of the Forum design provide ideal accessibility to the highest fingerboard positions, so that the entire range of the instrument can be played without any problems. The Fame Forum IV Modern Highgloss 50th Anniversary Dark Cherry Burst is completed by six tuning machines from the Japanese quality manufacturer Gotoh.

FAME – Handmade in Europe

The Fame Forum IV Modern 20th Anniversary Burl convinces with a careful choice of wood and a flawless finish. The body is made of khaya mahogany with a poplar burl top, whose unique grain is skilfully emphasised by the finish. A noble highlight is undoubtedly the sharply contoured arching of the top with a recess in the cutaway, which ensures unhindered playability in all registers. Thanks to the perfectly proportioned “D” profile, the Sapelli mahogany neck lies comfortably in the hand, so that every note almost plays itself on the ebony fingerboard.
